Visa issuance suspension (full immigrant and nonimmigrant) under Presidential Proclamation 10998, effective 1 January 2026. This is NOT a blanket claim that all holders are inadmissible. Scope and exceptions include certain existing visas, dual nationals using an unrestricted passport, lawful permanent residents and other specified categories. Existing visas were not revoked by the proclamation.
